You can use your orchid fertilizer on other plants. The three numbers indicate the percentage of nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium. Nitrogen promotes lush, green growth, phosphorous promotes flowering and strengthens stems and potassium encourages root growth and works in conjunction with the other two elements for overall plant health. About the only thing this fertilizer formula won't work well for is carrots where you don't want a lot of green top growth but you do want a healthy root. Best wishes with your garden!

Would this 20-14-13 fertilizer be ok for Hibiscus trees or hydrangeas? I have some left over from a failed attempt to save my daughters orchid and have a sad looking hibiscus given to me to try and save.
