The Q&A Archives: containing plants

Question: I have limited space and wonder if I can plant perrenials in containers underground so that I can keep them restrained.

Answer: Absolutely! Bury the pots so the rim is also underground. This makes it easier for the soil to receive rainwater or water from the hose. Unearth the pots every 2-3 years and divide your perennials if necessary. Enjoy your garden!
