My 7 year old boxwoods are brown in spots. Aside from cutting out the brown, is there a treatment that I can use to assist in new growth?

You may have to do some detective work to figure out why they have brown areas or spots. Could be environmental, insect or even a disease. Check over the plants to see what you can discover. Spring pruning is an excellent way to renew boxwoods. Trim them all over to encourage healthy new growth. Good luck with your plants.
