The Q&A Archives: Round up

Question: If I spray Round-Up along my pathway will in damage my gardenia's and roses that I have planted along the sides of my path.

Answer: Round Up is a contact herbicide, but it does not move in the soil so it will be safe to use on the pathway as long as overspray does not come in contact with your gardenias and roses. You can place a cardboard box over your plants or in some other way screen them from the spray and they should be fine. Best wishes with your landscape.
