We are in the process of replacing our front lawn landscape. Our junipers died and our landscaping lumber is bad. We remove all and want to replace with something low maintance. What would be the best ground cover and mulch to use? |
Ajuga (carpet bugle), Bearberry (Arctostaphylos), or Euonymus fortunei 'Coloratus' Purple Wintercreeper would be good choices for your gardening region. I always lean toward organic mulches. Shredded or chipped bark, shredded cypress or even deep layers of compost are all good mulch materials. Enjoy your landscape! |
