| About a month ago I planted a Rose Dogwood. The leaves first turned powdery grey and have now turned brown, curled and died. This is progressing up the tree. Two other trees (not Rose Dogwood) I planted at the same time are doing well. Advice please. |
| The powdery gray coating on the leaves indicates a fungal disease called powdery mildew. You can spray your tree with a fungicide such as Daconil 2787. This will protect the unaffected foliage but will not help the leaves already involved. The good news is that it is early enough in the season that your dogwood may drop the affected leaves and develop healthy new leaves. Hope so! |
