Question: My Atlanta yard is a mixed bag of fescue, bermuda, weeds, and bald patches. Over the last couple summers, I've noticed the bermuda spreading out on its own a little each year, and want to make it spread even faster. Obviously adequate water and fertilizer will help, but what about mowing? Should I keep the lawn (esp. the bermuda) short or allow it to grow long to help it spread out?
