The Q&A Archives: Perennial Garden

Question: i have a garden with perennials evrything grew in beautifully with the expeption of the white hostas they remained tiny, what can i do to help them grow?

Answer: Some hostas are genetically smaller than others so they may be growing at the correct rate, however, hostas like a rich, moist, acidic soil. Be sure to mulch around each plant to help the soil retain moisture and feed with an acidified plant food (Miracle Gro, Miracid, etc.) to improve the growing conditions Enjoy your garden!
