Planted oleanders 1 year ago. When is the best time to prune and how?

You can prune your oleanders anytime this spring or summer. You can reduce the size by shearing all over. This will result in a dense and compact plant. Or, you can selectively shorten just some of the branches if you want a natural rather than a formal look. Oleanders will develop at least two, and sometimes four new stems at the site of the pruning cut. Best wishes with your plants.
