The Q&A Archives: compost bags: "permanent" vs paper

Question: Your garden site suggests using compost bags of a tough reusable material. Fine. But, I just bought 5 Home Depot PAPER compost bags (much cheaper)! How does one use the paper compost bags to produce compost --rolling the bags periodically I guess? And, is watering or aerating also needed? Will the paper bag eventually disintegrate if left outside? Any related info will be appreciated. Thanks
