The Q&A Archives: Planting Blueberry bushes

Question: When is the best time to plant blueberry bushes and how close together etc. Do they need to pollenate?

Answer: You can plant your blueberries as close as 3 feet if you want them to grow into a hedge like planting or up to 6 feet apart if you want to tend individual plants. For the most part, blueberries are self-fertile. But, for a larger crop, you should plant a second blueberry nearby. Enjoy!
