The Q&A Archives: Watering system

Question: I would like to construct a watering system for my perimeter plants in my front and back yards. Where do I begin?

Answer: Start by taking measurements of the beds and sketching them out on graph paper. You can pick up brochures at your local Home Depot to help you determine what lines and fittings you might need. Once you have your list you can either pick up the pieces and follow the instructions on the brochures, or ask a friendly staff person to help you choose the right parts. Drip systems are easy to install.
