wondering how to plant green onion starter plants? will be planting in container garden-how deep in the soil should they be planted? do they need to be separated into different clumps? what is the best way to trim/cut to cook with? thanks!

If you want scallions, separate the clump into individual pieces and bury each 1/2 inch below the surface, spacing 2 or 3 inches apart. When the plants are about as thick as a pencil, pull the entire plant up for cooking or eating in salads. Enjoy!
