If you can duplicate the light and temperatures indoors that you find outdoors, you can successfully grow flowering plants indoors. Most people cannot duplicate these conditions indoors so instead of growing outdoor plants they choose tropical flowering plants for indoor growing. Each plant type has slightly different growing conditions so you will need to match the conditions your home can offer to the growing conditions required by the plant. Ochids and African violets are popular flowering plants for growing indoors. Best wishes with your new plants.
