| I want to replace the mulch with small multi-colored stones around my square stepping stones leading around side of house to deck. How deep do the stones need to be? |
| If you want them level with the stepping stone, dig out the mulch and soil to slightly deeper than the height of your stepping stones and then place the small stones around the stepping stones. They can be lower than the stepping stones, but they should not be any higher or you might accidentally kick them out as you walk on the stepping stones. Enjoy your project! |
