The Q&A Archives: Tomato Spots

Question: I live in Port Charlotte, FL and I am currently growing tomato plants, purchased at Home Depot, in very large terra cotta pots the plants are very healthy, bushy and tall, but as the tomatoes grow a black spot develops on the bottom of the tomato. The spot gets larger as the tomato gets larger, hopefully my crop is not ruined is there a way to treat this before I loose all my tomatoes?
