| i have six azalea bushes in my flower bed..when i first bought them theywerefull of flowers and so pretty..now that i've planted them they are half dead and burnt lookin..they get partial sun and just enough water..im clueless as to why they are dying..thank goodness that home depot has a one year policy on there plants!! please help |
| Azaleas grow best in moist, acidic soils and morning sun but shelter from hot afternoon sunshine. Browning leaves can indicate over watering or sunscald. Mulch over the soil with pine needles or peat moss to help increase acidity, and feed with a specialized rhododendron/azalea fertilizer (or use Miracid). All of these steps will enhance the growing conditions and help your azaleas thrive. Best wishes with your shrubs! |
