The Q&A Archives: small(6-12") border plants

Question: Would like small red or orange plants for a North facing border in Florida. Need something that's PERENNIAL, doesn't require a ot of work. Drought tolerant would be a real plus. Prefer something that has color year round.

Answer: Trailing phlox might be a good choice, or Aglaonema (Aglaonema commutatum), another perennial. Episcia (Episcia spp.) or Verbena might also appeal to you.
