| I assure you this is no joke. A friend of mine is a chemist and has always had a lush garden. When I asked his secret he said he urinates on the plants and that the nutrients in the urine are good for the plants. I have been trying this discretely on a few areas of grass that were not growing well and am experimenting on my garden and it appears to work. I have still been fertilizing with the appropriate miracle grow products. I am wondering if there has ever been a study on this topic. Thank you. |
| Well, there is a study on just about everything, so I'm sure there has been. I'm not aware of any official results. I am however surprised this is working, in general, human urine, cat urine and dog urine are far too high in ammonia and burn plants. That is why people have "dog patches" in the areas of their yards where the dogs urinate. If you have been having lots of rain, it could be helping dilute the acidity--once the weather dries, you may start having trouble. My guess would be that your Miracle-Gro is working.
