The easiest way is to spread topsoil over the holes or divots. If you add only about a half inch at a time, any grass that is in the sunken area will grow through the topsoil. If there is still a depression, add another half inch of topsoil and allow the grass to grow through. Repeat as often as necessary to make your lawn level. Or, if there is no grass in the depressions, simply fill the holes with topsoil and overseed the areas. Place a little compost on top of the seeds to help keep them moist and to keep the birds from feasting on the seeds. Best wishes with your lawn. |
