| Something is making tiny pinholes on my tomato leaves. Could it be mites or flea beetles? What can I do to solve my problem? |
| Flea beetles are probably the pests that have vicitimized your tomato plants. You can make a trap by lining a cardboard box with white or bright yellow paper and smearing it with petroleum jelly or spraying it with 'Tanglefoot'. Then hold the box upside-down over (but not touching the leaves) of each plant. Shake the box and the flea beetles will be attracted to the white or bright yellow color and jump onto the sticky surface, where they'll be hopelessly stuck. Do this every few days for about two weeks and you'll reduce the population of flea beetles by a huge percentage. |
