I WANT TO PUT A LANDSCAPE AROUND MY BAYWINDOW.I WANT TO USE GRAVEL & STONES. AND DIG PLANTERS INTO THE STONES. HOW DO I DO THIS? WHAT ARE SOME GOOD STONES TO BUY AS WELL AS PLANTERS. ALSO I WILL LINE THE AREA WITH BRICKS. AT THE PRESENT TIME THE AREA IS FULL OF GRASS AND REAL BAD DIRT. I HAVE WEEDS IN THIS AREA. SO I WANT TO DIG UP THE AREA AMD PUT MY STONES AND GRAVELS.
CAN YOU HELP ME???

I would remove all the vegetation and level the soil then add about two inches of builder's sand to the area so you can set the bricks and stones and planters inot the sand to help anchor them. After placing the sand, install the bricks, then the planters, then the rocks and finish up by installing the gravel. Sounds like a great weekend project. Enjoy!
