My junipers have grown too high if i prune them short are they able to grow back high?

If you cut the tops level they will sprout several new stems (like a crewcut hair cut). If this is the look you want, go ahead and shorten them. You can keep them shorter with annual pruning once you cut the tops straight across. Hope this answers your question!
