I planted a pomegranate about 2 years ago. Each year the blossoms fall off & do not become fruit. Why does this happen?

Some pomegranates are strictly ornamental and others are fruit bearing. It might help to know the name of your pomegranate. If you are sure it is a fruit bearing variety, and if it flowers, it should produce fruit unless there are no flying insects to pollenate each open flower. I don't know if you regularly spray insecticides or perhaps your neighbors do, but for some reason there aren't enough pollinating insects in your yard. Wish I had more ideas to share!
