It could have been the timing of your spray, or the weather when you applied the crabgrass control. You didn't identify your turfgrass type so I'm not sure what to recommend. Monterey Weed Hoe (MSMA) Grassy Weeds, including; Crabgrass, Dallisgrass, Goosegrass, Johnsongrass, Nutsedge, Witchgrass. Monterey Turflon Ester (Triclopyr) Grassy and Broadleaf Weeds, including; Bermudagrass and annual and perennial weeds. Acme Trimec Plus (Trimec and MSMA) Grassy and Broadleaf Weeds, Including; Crabgrass, Yellow Nutsedge, Dallisgrass, Dandelion, Ground Ivy, Clover. You'll want to apply a pre-emergent herbicide on your lawn early next spring to get a jump start on stopping any crabgrass seeds from sprouting in your lawn next summer.
