The Q&A Archives: Vegetable Planting

Question: Is it too late to plant tomatoes, string beans, cucumbers and lettuce?

Answer: If you purchase transplants of tomatoes and cucumbers and get them in the garden by the first of June you should have a decent harvest from your garden. Lettuces and green beans are reasonably quick growing so you can start them from seeds now.
