The Q&A Archives: Roses in the Shade?

Question: Is there any variety of rose that will grow in mostly shade?????

Answer: Most roses need at least 8 hours of full sunshine to grow and bloom well. The only exception to this rule is the Knock Out roses. These are hardy rosa rugosas and will grow with only 3 hours of sunshine per day.
