| i am Elijah and i am 11 years old and i have 4 cherry tomato plants and the leaves are wilting.i had them in a large planter and they got sick then i transplanted them in to the ground, the planter did not have holes for drainage and thay got to much water, what can i do to help them now? |
| Now that you have planted your tomato plants in the ground they should recover, and you have learned that plant roots need oxygen as well as moisture in order to remain healthy. Tomato plants are durable and if you transplanted them in time, the roots should establish themselves in the garden soil in a week or so. Once they do, you should see some new top growth. There's really nothing you can do to help them recover any faster. It just takes time, so be patient with your plants. I hope you get lots of tomatoes from them! |
