| Instead of plastic, I would install weed barrier landscape fabric under the deck. It will allow rainwater to percolate down into the soil. Plastic will make the rainwater run off into adjacent flower beds or puddle under the deck - and that's not a good thing! After installing the weed barrier you can cover it with decorative stones. Sounds like a good weekend project. Enjoy! |
