| Avocado trees started from pits can and do develop avocados, but not until they are 8-10 years of age. In the meantime you can grow your tree as a houseplant and eventually plant it outdoors to enjoy as a shade tree. It will develop fruit when it is mature enough to do so. Enjoy! |
