| Gardenias can be grown in containers for years. They can be allowed to become fairly rootbound before repotting, but it will be necessary to replant in larger containers every few years. Start out with a container one size larger than the nursery container. Choose a container with lots of drainage holes in the bottom and use regular potting soil each time you transplant your gardenia to a larger container. Best wishes with your new plant. |
