I have noticed that my tomatoe leaves have a white mildew like area ,white webb like spots. What can you reccomend? |
It sounds like powdery mildew, a fungal disease. Are your plants getting 8 hours of sunshine a day? Do they have good air circulation all around? Powdery mildew is unusual in tomatoes, but it obviously does happen. You can try a fungicide or you can make your own by mixing: 1 tablespoon of baking soda and one-half teaspoon of liquid soap (not liquid detergent) into one gallon of water. Apply to the leaves of your plant. Best wishes with your tomatoes! |
