I have non-blooming Lilacs. Soil is acidic, morning sun. Heard I should add lime or wood ash.

Lilacs do prefer alkaline soils so if yours is acidic, you can add lime or wood ash. It will take some time to work its way into the soil to help mellow it so apply now and your lilac may bloom for you next spring. Hope so!
