Yellow leaves - Knowledgebase Question

We just purchased a cleveland pear tree from home depot about two weeks ago and all of a sudden the leaves are turning yellow. can you pls tell me what we may be doing wrong?

I suspect your tree is showing some transplant stress. Once the roots establish themselves the tree should perk up. Be careful not to overwater. Soggy soils can suffocate roots so don't keep the soil too moist. You can water deeply once or twice a week (depending upon weather) to help the roots establish. Best wishes with your new pear tree.
