The Q&A Archives: why did my rose revert to wild stage
Question: I recently purchased and planted what was supposed to be a "Blue Girl" Hybrid Tea Rose.2 Mos after planting it has bloomed the way wild roses do. The little flowers are white and have no fragrance. The foliage has even changed. What would make a rose revert back to the wild stage? It was bought bare-root and I pruned the dead canes off before planting.
