In FL should Amaryills that are out side all year
be cut back after blooming?

You can cut down the flowering stalk after the flowers are spent, but allow the foliage to remain on the plant. It is important to remove dead blooms before seeds are produced. If your don't, flowering the following season will be greatly reduced. So, pull off the dead flowers as they are spent and then cut down the flower stalk when no more flowers will be produced.
