Garden huckleberry will produce fruits in the fall which you can harvest and enjoy. There are perennial huckleberry plants that grow woody stems and live for many years and there are annual huckleberry plants that grow all spring and summer long and develop fruits but then die with the first frost. Whether you have the woody perennial or the annual kind of huckleberries, you should still get fruit in late summer and early fall. Enjoy!
