The Q&A Archives: Gardenia

Question: my sister have a gardenia tree that i took out and some of the root was damage i replanted it in my back yard i used miracle-gro garden soil and a slow releasing fertilizer and watered it good what else do i have to it to make sure it live

Answer: If you give your gardenia a chance to adjust and develop new roots, it should recover. Water it regularly but don't fertilize until it shows new top growth. This may take some time because the plant will be busy growing new roots. Good luck with your gardenia!
