This is not a problem, I'm just very curious. Do you know why Brugmansia leaves move/point upward at night. In the daytime, the leave are in horizontal/flat position; at night, they begin to point strongly upward toward the sky? Have never observed this |
Plants with day/night folding-leaf cycles are displaying photonastic movements and are considered photonasty. It is in response to light (or lack thereof). Maranta, or prayer plant, does the same thing. It's an interesting process to watch. |
