The Q&A Archives: My Green Beans

Question: My first planting of beans turned yellow how do I get them to turn green again.Ive heard they got too much water. It has rained a lot here. Thanks Jay

Answer: Too much water can suffocate the roots of plants. There's nothing you can do for the yellow beans except to cut them off the plant. If the leaves of the plant are still green you should get new flowers and beans. If the leaves are yellow, pull the plants out and start over again. Once the roots have been damaged by too much water, there's not much you can do to revive the plant. Good luck with your beans!
