Question: we live in interior Alaska, close to Denali Park, what zone would you consider us in. We are planting some wild alaska flower seeds. just getting them out.But would like some perennials that would come back every year?

Answer: According to your zip code, you are gardening in USDA zone 4. Some perennials to consider include Achillea 'Pretty Belinda' (Yarrow), Aconitum napellus (Monkshood), Actaea simplex 'Black Negligee' (Bugbane), Agastache 'Blue Fortune' (Hyssop), Aquilegia vulgaris 'Clementine Red' (Columbine), Armeria maritima 'Rubrifolia' (Sea Pink), Bergenia 'Solar Flare' (Pig-squeak), Campanula persicifolia 'La Belle' (Bellflower), Delphinium elatum 'Blue Lace' (Larkspur), Hemerocallis 'Agnes of Glasgow' (Daylily). There are lots more, but the above are at least a good start. Enjoy your garden!
