I trim my dwarf citrus trees immediately after harvesting the fruit. You can cut away any extra long or wayward branches now, but major trimming should not be done if you have developing fruit on your trees. Exposing the fruit to sunshine when it has been shaded by leaves can cause sunscald. It's best to wait until you harvest the fruit and before new flowers appear to prune. Good luck with your citrus trees.
