The Q&A Archives: Tree

Question: I don't know what kind of tree it is but it's dropping leaves more than any tree should. What's wrong.

Answer: Water stress or over fertilization are the usual causes of premature leaf drop. Too much water can suffocate roots; not enough can make the tree drop leaves. Hope this information helps you determine the cause.
