The Q&A Archives: geranium & petunia worms

Question: geraniums & petunias get destroyed every year right after they bloom by little worms in the actual flowers. what can I use to kill them safely?

Answer: It's difficult to kill the larvae once they've entered the flower buds so you'll need to concentrate on killing the moths. Orthene sprayed according to label directions should help. Best wishes with your geraniums and petunias!
