I have had a beautiful Aloe plant since it was about 3 in. high. It is now about 4 feet. It's been in a screen room for many years, but now must be moved outdoors. Can it take the hot sun in Central Florida? What about occasional freezes in the winter? |
Your aloe will do fine in full sun. It needs good drainage and an occasional drink of water. As far as winter is concerned, a hard freeze will kill it but a brief minor freeze will only burn it back a bit. It will look watersoaked-brown but will come back fine. When temps will fall below freezing you may want to cover it for protection. |
