Most topiaries are full sun plants, but it would help if we knew its true identity. In general, topiaries are shrubs and they've been pruned into interesting shapes. To help keep the original shape, just prune any errant branches, or prune the entire plant back by a couple of inches in spring and again in mid-summer. Plant yours in the ground or in containers and give them full sunshine. Water when the top of the soil feels dry to the touch. Enjoy your new topiaries!
