Planniing for a wire pet fenced area. What should the distance be between posts? No need for anything taller than 2.5 feet for small dog with small mesh measurement. Easier to step over for adults.

Fence posts are normally set 6' apart but with such a short fence it might look better to set the posts 4' apart. The finished product will look more uniform and in tune with the low height. Wire mesh can be attractive, but maybe your landscape will support a little picket fence? These come pre assembled with stakes attached so all you need to do is hammer the stakes into the ground. Best wishes with your new fence!
