I have a burning bush in my front year that has been in place for about three years. It seems to growing wild and I was thinking of cutting it back some. The branches are approx 3-4 ft long. How much should I take off? Thanks

You can safely remove as much as one third of the live material from your burning bush without causing stress to your plant. I find that annual pruning keeps a burning bush dense and compact and looking neat and trim. Best wishes with your garden!
