invasive flower - Knowledgebase Question

blue flowers started growing a couple of yrs. ago ,don't know where they came from ,thinking wind or bied seed,the green foilage sticks on your gloves like burdock when you try to dig 'em up. what are they?a and what is the best way to get rid of them? weed killer did not work and they keep coming back even when most of them DO get dug up

Wish we could identify the weed by your description, but it sounds like it could be one of a hundred different weeds. If weed killers don't work, you may need to spot treat with something a little more potent. Use a broadleaf weed killer (2,4-D) in a spray application to kill individual weeds.
