At present we have roses along one of our walls and three small fish ponds. Two 90 gal.already in the ground and a 250gal. going in for Koi. We want to add some Palm trees for shade and would like some advise on other tropical plants that do not get to big to maintain.

Some tropical looking plants to consider include Feijoa sellowiana (Feijoa), Fuchsia boliviana (Bolivian Fuchsia), Hardy banana, Bird of Paradise, Elephant Ears, hibiscus, Canna Lilies and most other large leafed perennials. I know you will find all the right plants to build your very own tropical paradise.
